Today Lucky got lucky.. He went to a great new home and will be a very happy puppy.  Here he is with his new family.  Lucky was the pup that I had to bottle feed and really spent a good amount of time making sure he got his fair share of food with the other puppies being so much larger.  He is doing amazing and will surely be a great dog.

Good luck Lucky!!

Playing Outside with Mom & Dad

Filed under: News & Events — admin @ 11:11 am

The puppies went outside today with Carmella and Vito and had a blast..  They ran around as Vito showed them how to pickup a soccer ball with his mouth and Carmella chased them around the yard all the while keeping them safe.

At about 2hrs they were all sprawled out on the grass sleeping in the shade..  Many of them got into the mud so they will all need baths before returning inside the house again.

Bonaboxers RockyPuppy Rocky has now gone home with his new family.  He will be having a blast with their other dogs and I know he will be spending much of his puppy energy keeping active.  Rocky’s new name will be Elvis and we think that is a perfect name for him.  He is so flashy and fun..

Good Luck Elvis!   Please send photos often..

Feeding time is fun for the puppies and for Camila.  She loves to play with them and make sure they all get a fair share of food and water.  Here she is watching over the puppies and keeping the smaller ones fed.

I think she enjoys her puppy duties..

Heads or No Tails?

Today the puppies had their tails docked and met with the great people over at Briarcrest Veterinary Clinic.   You don’t want their tails too short or too long and Clint Van Etton is a pro at deciding exactly how long to make the tails. I have taken all of my dogs there for over 16 years and have always been happy with their professional and friendly staff.  If your pet needs a good vet clinic I suggest giving them a call.

The puppies look more like boxers with their new shorter tails but I have a feeling it was not a comfortable thing but the puppies don’t seem to care a bit.   They are happy and eating like crazy.
